Effect of military service/deployment on custody and visitation orders.

FC §3047 provides deployed service members with certain protections, including expediency in the resolution of custody disputes, but it does not alter the best interest of the child standard.

Court may conduct a limited inquiry prior to reinstating custody after a military deployment, but absent a prima facie showing of detriment, reinstatement should be automatic.
