Statutory time to appeal.

Where husband appealed DVRO, subsequent mutual RO could not be considered a modification of DVRO because appeal stayed enforcement of it, and therefore the trial ct. lacked jurisdiction to modify it. [Dicta.]

Because there is no duty for an appellate court to search the record for evidence, it may disregard any factual contention not supported by a proper record citation.

As service of DVRO upon H not established, the outside 180-day limit applied to his filing of appeal, and his personal presence in the courtroom did not shorten the time.
